"We debated long and hard about whether or not to even hire a copywriter...until we found your Website. But everything on your site, from what you had to say to the way you said it, immediately connected. Now, after meeting with you for our initial consultation, we know we made the right decision.

Some of your questions today were hard, but they were good too. And they got us thinking about our business in a different way. It's amazing, we've been working on this for two years now, but before today it seemed like so many details all thrown together in my mind. Somehow, you were able to take all those different ideas and create one cohesive vision that fits perfectly. It really feels like everything is coming together now. And, I'm so much less stressed about getting our marketing done, and done right!" Maggie & Bruce Medjuck - Kid's World

"Stacy, we are thrilled! The sales letters you wrote pulled so well we had to quit sending them out and focus on refining systems to handle all the new work." Tony Parks - Evergreen Print Group

"Stacy has an infectious enthusiasm for working with words. She asks questions that provide focus and food for thought while balancing the processes of brainstorming, incubating, and evaluating. She helps simplify what can seem like a complex project:  finding the right words." Sandy Bjorgen, MA - Creative Conversations

"Thanks so much for the terrific sales letter for our XoftSpy software. As you know, we've had a number of writers create letters for us which we have been split-testing on our Website. I just thought you'd like to know that yours is pulling the best! We're ready for you to start on another project as soon as you have the time."Don Wharton - Paretologic

"Stacy is great to bounce concepts and ideas off of, and then she translates them into tangible results—meaning sales."Bianca Hein – CEO, ExtraPR.com

"In a short period of time, Stacy magnified media awareness for our event in a very competitive market." Sylvia Gercke - SBA Regional Communications Director

"Thanks for all your hard work Stacy. I think you did a great job capturing the essence of what I do for my clients--which is hard to do in my line of work. You have such a great knack for explaining complicated information in a way that is succinct, concrete and easy for anyone to understand. It really made me want to read more." Linda Craig - Linda’s Center

"Thank you so much for working with us to produce the copy for our 2003 consumer catalogs. I was impressed by your ability to pick up just the right tone and style. Rest assured, you will always be the first person I call when we need quality text under a short deadline." Carry Porter - Cascade Designs, Inc.

"Your knack for finding a way to sell a product, and your ability to organize large amounts of material, are so helpful. I'll always call you when I need consulting, and killer copy, from someone who really understands the products, the market and the industry." Mike Glavin - VP of Marketing, Mountainsmith

Marketing Takes Your Business to the World... Exceptional Copywriting Makes the World take Notice

When you can’t be there to sell your product or service in person, you have to rely on written words to do the job for you. That's why, even in today’s tech-savvy world, copywriting is still such an important part of promoting your business.

Think about it…

Brochures        Web Sites     Catalogs     Press Releases

Videos      Sales Letters     Fliers     Ads

Newsletters     Presentations         Hangtags       Coupons

How valuable would any of these be if they didn’t have any words in them? What about if they were filled with wrong words?

You’d only be pouring precious time, money and energy down the drain…Right?

The truth is, copywriting is the most important part of every sales, advertising or marketing promotion you do.

Consider this…

Could you sell thousands of dollars of product with nothing but a beautiful image?

Doubtful. But you can sell literally millions of dollars of products or services with just words alone (think of all those annoyingly long sales letters that constantly pack your mail box—they make millions!!).

Yet if I had a dollar for every time I’ve seen someone spend hundreds, or even thousands on graphic design and printing—then scramble to scribble out the copy themselves in the 11th hour—I’d be rich by now.

What most folks don’t realize is that writing copy is completely different from any other kind of writing out there. And it’s the polar opposite of how most of us leaned to write in school.

Because copywriting isn’t just about providing information. It’s the art, science and psychology of making sales on paper.

"Compelling copywriting is so much more than
just words on a page."

Effective copy...

  • Grabs your ideal customer by the eyeballs
  • Speaks directly to their wants and needs in a language they can understand
  • Makes your company unique and likeable
  • And gives prospects all the information they need to take the next step and confidently buy from you
The Price of Effective Copywriting is just a Drop in the Bucket Compared to the Cost of Marketing that Doesn't Get Results

A few years ago, I took a simple, one-page sales letter my client had written and turned it into three, carefully crafted sales letters designed to be mailed in sequence. The result? My client got so much new business he had to quit sending the letters out!

"Stacy, we are thrilled! The sales letters you wrote
pulled so well we had to quit sending them out and focus
on refining systems to handle all the new work."

Tony Parks - Evergreen Print Group

And that’s how powerfully effective your copywriting can be too.

Can I really write effectively about your business?

You bet. Over the years I’ve written sizzling sales copy for all kinds of businesses including: manufacturers, outdoor companies, retailers, consultants, physicians, photographers, financial planners, Mom and Pop shops and major corporations.

In fact, learning about new businesses, products and services is one of my favorite parts of the job!

Since every business is different, I always start with an initial consultation. I learn all I can about your business, your goals and your target market. I look at the marketing you've done before and I study your competition.

Along the way I keep my eyes out for potential roadblocks as well as any money-making opportunities you might be missing. Plus I search for ways to get the most out of every piece of marketing I create. That way you don't have to spend money constantly reinventing the wheel.

If you don't already have a solid plan in place, I create a set of specific, custom strategies for reaching your business goals. Once I know exactly where you want to go, and how you're going to get there, everything else is much easier.

Now I can really use my sales, marketing and copywriting skills to develop just the right message, voice and position to make you stand out from the crowd.

Plus, you get much more than just
amazing copywriting...

  • First you get an initial, half-day consultation to asses your marketing needs and goals, and make sure I understand your business. At the end of this meeting, if you don’t think I’ve provided any value, we stop right there and I don’t charge you a thing.

If you like my suggestions and decide to have me handle your copywriting, I credit the entire cost of your consultation towards your first project.

So there is no risk to you to get started!

  • All projects include two rounds of revisions. So you get to see an initial draft to make sure we are on the same page, and then also make minor revisions to the final draft. This way there are no surprises and you can feel confident all the content is correct.

  • I work closely with your Web and/or graphic designer to make sure the look, layout and copy all fit together like a hand in a glove. If you don’t speak fluent Website I can translate your needs into the technical jargon your Web designer understands.

  • All your materials receive one final proofread for typos before your site goes live or your materials go to press.

  • I guarantee that if you use my copywriting unedited, and exactly as I suggest, you’ll get results. If not, I'll edit, revise or rewrite—for free—until you do!

Don’t risk wasting precious time and money on marketing that doesn’t get results. Instead, let me write copy that makes people take notice—and take action.

What does it cost to hire me as your copywriter?

A lot less than it costs to hire someone who is cheaper, but has less experience.

How so?

Because paying $500 (or less) for a sales letter, for example, might seem like a great deal up front. But once you’ve spent hundreds of dollars on printing and postage—and hours of time on mailing and following up—it’s not so cheap. Especially if you don’t get results.

After all, what costs more? Spending $600 on a marketing effort that makes you little or no money…Or spending $6000 on marketing that makes you $10,000, $100,000, or more?

Personally I’d rather spend more to make more than pour money down the drain.

Now I know you're probably hoping to find a list of set prices here. Unfortunately, because every project is different, it's virtually impossible for me to give you an accurate estimate without knowing all the details. It really just depends on the type, size and scope of the project, as well as how much strategic planning you've already done.

So as soon as we've had our initial half-day consultation I provide with an estimate for your copywriting project.
